Refund Policies

We have always maintained a no questions asked refund policy for 30 days after purchase. If CYBERsitter does not suit your needs, you may contact our customer service department at any time during this 30 day period and request a refund. If a CD was shipped to you, you may return it to us with a copy of your invoice without pre-approval, as long as it is within the 30 day period. Your refund will be issued as soon as we receive the product.

History

Solid Oak Software was founded in 1990. Our primary focus then, as it is now, is computer security. In 1994, when there were only a few online services like Compuserve and AOL, we developed a product to keep kids form downloading image files to their PCs. As interest in the Internet started to grow, we enhanced this product to encompass this fast growing new medium. CYBERsitter was first offered as a retail product in major stores like CompUSA, and Costco in 1995.

Solid Oak Software has been privately owned by the same family for 18 years. We feel that one of our greatest strengths is that we have been here since the virtual beginnings of the Internet. Unlike our competitors, we have never gone bankrupt, never been acquired by another company, and have stayed in business serving our customers for all these years.
